The Fordham Foundation continues its hunt for a crackerjack writer/editor to help with education writing projects on a part-time or occasional basis. Collective Bargaining in Education, a new book edited by the Urban Institute's Jane Hannaway and Education Sector's Andrew Rotherham, will be released at the National Press Club's Holeman Lounge on Tuesday, February 28. The event begins at noon, and will run until 1:30 (lunch is provided). Space is limited.
On March 29, the American Enterprise Institute will celebrate a new report on teacher collective bargaining agreements written by Frederick M. Hess and Martin West. Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney will be on hand for the festivities and will share his vision for education reform. Registration will begin at 2:00 p.m.
