Well, here are a few rather unique stories that caught my eye today. First, some parents are actually hiring ?homework helpers? to monitor their children and make sure the homework gets done. Now, I ?know many parents are stretched awfully thin these days. But hiring someone to say ?do your homework,? to keep a watchful eye, to teach time-management? Seems a bit much.
And this actually seems a bit much as well. Apparently some janitors in NYC are making $140,000+. I won't use the ?cleaning up? pun because the NY Post already did so. But it's interesting that apparently?they're?making more than the teachers whose classrooms are being cleaned.
