As part of his ongoing attempt to save his hometown of Cleveland, comedian Drew Carey met with members of the city council yesterday to talk about his ideas for bettering the city.?? Among them, reports the Cleveland Plain Dealer, is weighted-student funding:
He billed another idea his ???backpack system.??? Parents choose the schools their children attend, and the funding goes with them. The comedian wants schools to compete for students and the money.
