Nancy and Rich Kinder, in partnership with the KIPP Foundation, are accepting nominations until December 31, 2005, for the $100,000 Kinder Excellence in Teaching Award. The award will be presented in the summer of 2006 to an outstanding teacher working in an underserved community. Nominees should be full-time teachers in a K-12 public or private school where at least half of the students are eligible for federal free and reduced-priced lunch.
