Well?.no real resolution today on whether or not New York City can release the names and ratings of its teachers. According to Gotham Schools, city and union lawyers agreed in court this afternoon to delay?release until they could hold a hearing on the matter next month (November 24). The city's teachers union filed suit earlier?in the day?to stop the city from moving forward.
According to the Gotham report, the city has agreed not to release teachers' names, but may still give reporters limited information, such as perhaps the data with the names redacted.
