New charter school coalition seeks savvy staffer

The Charter School Leadership Council, a new coalition of eight national organizations leading the charter school movement, seeks a knowledgeable and skilled person to provide professional staff support and coordination. The successful candidate should have experience in staffing policy-oriented committees, working groups or boards; excellent oral and written communications and analytic skills; familiarity with print and electronic media; and experience in establishing and/or staffing a non-profit organization. Knowledge of charter schools and related education issues is preferred; a bachelor's degree is required. Compensation will be commensurate with the position's responsibilities and the successful applicant's experience. Mail a resume, cover letter and references by January 15, 2003 to Lawrence C.
