We might not have a K-12 master plan, but that doesn't mean we can't still learn a lot from the military ? especially in talking about job-embedded professional development. Whatever the plan, we definitely need parent involvement. Of course, if this talk is too structured for you, you could go on kiddie sabbatical (and maybe even take some community college classes if you decide to travel abroad), or just head to school at your local mall.
