On behalf of the Thomas B. Fordham Institute, I am happy to announce that today our board elected?Dr. Amber Winkler to the new position of vice president for research.?This richly deserved promotion from?director of research brings her wisdom and expertise onto Fordham's executive team, where she joins Mike Petrillli (Executive Vice President), Terry?Ryan (Vice President for Ohio Programs and Policy)? and myself.
In her new role, Amber will continue to supervise Fordham's diverse?research programs, as well as participating in all major organizational decisions.?Besides almost four years of Fordham experience,?she brings with her more than 15 years of experience in educational evaluation and policy analysis, as well as ample publications of her own in such areas as accountability, testing, teacher quality and educational technology.
