Gadfly Bites 8/7/23—“I can’t go anywhere where somebody doesn’t stop me and say, it’s about time.”

1. Only one clip today, but I think it’s great that this one stands on its own…for a lot of reasons. The new-ish interim superintendent of Dayton City Schools wants to change almost everything about the district he now leads. That’s a lot of change, if you ask me. And the elected school board seems pretty excited about it all. I’m all for disrupting the status quo, but this almost makes me wonder if the district had perhaps been on the wrong track in many of these areas at some point before he got the gig last month. Just sayin’. (Dayton Daily News, 8/7/23)
