- Fordham’s Aaron Churchill
entered the octagonwas a guest on Sound of Ideas on Wednesday morning, discussing vouchers in the toughest of tough rooms. He made good points when he got to talk and stayed focused on the demonstrated benefits of private school choice for families and kids. But it didn’t really matter, in my humble opinion, unless there happened to be some folks undecided on the matter on the listening end of the conversation. I definitely didn’t hear any on the speaking end. (IdeaStream Public Media, Cleveland, 7/3/24) - School Choice Ohio president Yitz Frank was also trying to get through to Clevelanders on Wednesday, posting an op-ed arguing that school choice promotes diversity in Ohio schools, rather than supporting re-segregation, as some would have it. These findings and more come from the results of a survey of Cleveland residents (those with children attending CMSD, those attending schools of choice, even those without school-age children) conducted by the Cleveland Transformation Alliance. I don’t see a link to the full survey findings yet, but I’ll keep an eye out. (Signal Cleveland, 7/3/24)
