  1. Here’s a fantastic story about Jeannette Boyle of East Canton who recently earned her high school diploma—only 35 years late—thanks to her relentless hard work to pick up algebra, economics, world history, government, and science after a long time away from the hallowed halls. She also credits her employer, McDonald’s, for providing funding and support through their Archways to Opportunity program. Kudos to all! Not only does Ms. Boyle recommend the program enthusiastically to her fellow McD’s employees, she’s also looking toward future postsecondary education options herself. I won’t tell you where “them kids” are probably coming in from, but there is a clue for you right here in this write up. --------> (Akron.com, 4/14/22)
