- This is an editorial which exonerates the Lorain school board and every other area official and meddling rando who obstructed David Hardy’s work as CEO even before he got started. I don’t like it. (Morning Journal, 11/16/19)
- This is a piece of reportage, in which suburban school officials complain to the media about the EdChoice Scholarship Program and demand that it be “fixed”. I don’t like this one either, and EdChoice isn’t broken. (Gongwer Ohio, 11/15/19)
- This is a story about teachers at Ohio’s largest online charter school. The teachers are lovely and positive and provide some interesting detail about their jobs. I don’t hate it, despite some offputting quotes and misinformation provided by others. (Columbus Dispatch, 11/17/19)
- This is a story I like very much, even though it is ostensibly about sports. But it is also about donuts, adoptions, Italy, cute kids, and a foundation in Westerville that helps students in struggling districts attend private schools instead. (Columbus Dispatch, 11/18/19)
