It is so short that it will only take me one sentence to summarize it for you: Akron’s Dreams Academy, an all-boys private school in its inaugural year of operation—is a finalist for the prestigious Yass Prize this year, a national program that aims to reward the most innovative and successful education models. And it is so sweet to be able to tell you that the school’s leaders plan to use the $1 million prize—if they win it—to expand that model to Cleveland, Columbus, and Youngstown. Fingers crossed for all of the reasons! (Akron Beacon Journal, 11/10/25)
