Research Intern
Julia Hayes, a Research Intern with the Thomas B. Fordham Institute, has a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Idaho and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Education Policy from Johns Hopkins University. Upon completing her BS, she interned at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) as an Education Policy Intern and at the U.S. Senate as a Congressional Intern for Senator James Risch. She has also worked as a special education teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools.
