Research Intern
Ali Schalop, a Research Intern at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute, is a current master’s student of Education Leadership and Policy at George Washington University. Ali got her start in education as a 10th grade English teacher at a Title I public school in the Bronx with Americorps. She then worked as a copywriter and digital strategist for a non-profit, a local news organization, and democratic political campaigns, earning a Pollie award for political digital marketing along the way. Originally from New York City, Ali graduated with a degree in Political Science and Judaic Studies from the University of Michigan in 2018, Go Blue!
