The Dayton Early College Academy (DECA) was founded in 2003 as Ohio’s first early college high school. DECA’s focus includes helping students gain the skills they need to be successful in college and beyond. In addition to a rigorous curriculum, DECA requires students to pass six major milestones called “gateways” that include, but are not limited to, community services, job shadows, and internships.
Mission: To prepare future college graduates today to become the leaders of our community tomorrow.
