Zia George, a summer Intern at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute, is a rising senior attending Alabama A&M University excitedly pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communicative Science and Disorders. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Zia's passion for communication disorders and education stems from her care for advocacy and always striving for improvements. Her commitment to being an active member of the community is evident through her numerous roles on campus and proud membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
