Laura Bornfreund is a Fordham Fellow placed with Common Core. She received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida in 2000 and taught for four years in Orange County Public Schools. In 2004, Laura received a Master of Public Administration and began working for the City of Orlando Mayor's Office. In 2006, the city launched the Parramore Kidz Zone, and Laura played an integral role in its implementation.
