Research Intern/ UNCF K-12 Fellow
Jamya Davis is a 2023 UNCF K-12 Education Fellow, and an undergraduate intern at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute for Summer 2023. Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Jamya enjoys sunshine, listening to music, spending time with her friends and family, and taking care of her plants. Jamya is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a specialized focus in history at the illustrious Xavier University of Louisiana. After graduation in May 2025, Jamya intends to enter into the world of Public Policy and obtain her Ph.D. Jamya greatly recognizes the interwoven nature of policy in all aspects of life, and is passionate about increasing representation and equity in both policy and policy-making.
