Program and Research Associate
Angel Gonzalez is a Program and Research Associate at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute. Previously serving as an intern, he is continuing his work in assisting with projects and research in the Ohio offices. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with B.S. in International Relations and Politics, Angel worked as English teacher for the Peace Corps in Chongqing, China. Influenced by his experience, Angel returned to the United States to work in education policy. Angel is particularly interested in how governance structures can be improved to benefit a school's ability to innovate and sustain high quality academic instruction.
