(1) scheduling, coordinating extensive travel, and administrative support for the President; (2) supporting needs of other senior staff, including travel, scheduling, and mailings; (3) answering the phones; (4) overseeing routine bill payment (accounting experience not required but helpful), including overseeing temporary bookkeeping staff (high school students); (5) helping with vendor relations and general office management; (6) maintaining filing systems, database, and library; (7) assisting with fundraising proposals and information-gathering; (8) general office support, including handling mail, copies, and other tasks as needed; (9) contributing to research, writing, and educational projects, depending on interests
College degree required. Computer skills in Word and Excel are required, as is email prowess. Strong writing skills required. Interest in education reform or public policy is highly desired. Willingness to work hard, to learn, and to do everything necessary to support your colleagues is essential. Additional Information: Office location: Downtown D.C.
